Mardi Gras Body Painting

Last month I had another wonderful body painting collaboration with photographer Kyaunna Hall of KFRESH Photography and model Dom Niqué! This was my first time painting Dom Niqué.

I was inspired by a Mardi Gras themed face painting that my friend and fellow face & body painter Milly Henry created on me at the New England Face & Body Artists Group Jam in February and I had some beads from a Mardi Gras birthday dance party for DJ Micky Grouse that I went to that same week.

Kyauna is hosting her 2nd R&B and Poetry Slam Networking Event II on Friday April 18th at Maggys Lounge 609 Washington Street • Quincy, MA 02169. I will be performing some of my mixed media Poetry/Songs and I may add something else to the mix! Kyauna will have some of her photography on exhibit and for sale, including some photos from our body painting sessions, come on by if you are in the area!

The Artist’s Way Group at the Black Indian Inn for Boston area artists

Do you want to let your creativity flow, get more time in your studio and be the artist of your spirit? Are you tired of having artists block or have you taken a long break from your artwork and feeling
a bit nervous about returning to your art? Then this is the group for you! We will explore and release our creativity using the techniques in the fantastic book The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron and meet in a safe, supportive environment with other artists and creative people.

This group is facilitated by Radiant Jasmin and is for all performing, visual and literary
artists and creatives.

We will start on Monday April 9, 2012 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and meet for 12 Monday nights or on Sundays from 4pm-6pm (the day will depend on which one works for the largest number of people.) There is a sliding scale fee of $25 -$50 for all 12 sessions. You will need to have the book and a new journal or one that has a lot of blank pages in it.

The Black Indian Inn is on 38 Bicknell St., Dorchester, MA 02121, www.blackindianinn.com.

For more info and to register, please call me at: 617-319-9778 and let me know which
day you can attend. Spread the word, thanks!

Keep on Creating!
